With the temperature spiking and seemingly staying that way this summer in PA, when we're not thinking watches, we're wondering what's a good way to escape the summer heat? Cold cider river side seemed like a great idea for a respite.
Over the last couple years we've become partial to Shacksbury Cider out of Shoreham, VT after getting introduced by one of our customers. The cider is great, and their dedication to natural fermentation brings a uniquely regional authenticity to their product. This uniquely local output appeals to us not just with Shacksbury, but on a broader basis as well.
We'll dive deeper into this idea of regionality, and its potential in avoiding cultural homogeny in the near future. For now hopefully you can head out somewhere cool(er) for a cold drink and a deep breath too.
